Donna Maria Thomas (Terry/Hooker/Walker)
September 16, 1942 – December 26, 1989
Donna Maria is the daughter of Dorothy Lee Thomas (Terry) and Warren Thomas Terry. Donna was born in Memphis, but was not of Memphis – she was heavily influenced by the years she spent in California before returning to Memphis. She had three children, two husbands, and one brother. Unfortunately she died before she could meet her grandchildren and her niece.
Dorothy Lee Thomas (Terry)
October 31, 1925 – May 15, 1985
Dorothy Lee is the daughter of Odetta Cox (Thomas) and Rodney Feltus Thomas. She was born in Memphis and followed her sister to California where she lived the rest of her life. She had two children, one husband (that I know of), and two sisters. She knew two of her grandchildren when they were young. She and I would never meet and she died before her last grandchild was born.
Odetta Cox (Thomas)
~1909 – March 24, 1940
Odetta is the daughter of Peoria Houston (Cox) and Hardy Cox. She was born in Arkansas and lived in Memphis at the time of her marriage and death. She had three children, one husband, and a brother. Odetta would lose her youngest child at 6 months old. Dying while her remaining children were young teenagers, she didn’t live to meet her two grandchildren.

~1889 – December 10, 1945
Peoria’s parents are unknown to me. She was born in Arkansas and lived in Memphis at the time of her death. She had two children and one husband. She knew three grandchildren and presumably one great-grandchild.
